Victorian Santa, 15 " tall mounted on a hand painted, wooden base of sponge decoration
to simulate snow. His head and shoulderplate is of cast paperclay with a silk covering.
Facial features are hand painted, mohair wig, mustache, eyebrows and beard. The body is
wire armatured with a costume of cotton, wool crepe, mink fur, leather, beads, wool felt
and original bag, miniature mohair plush bear,wrapped packages, felt stockings, and
paperclay doll. Monochromatic and soft; old timey in feeling.
